So, last night I got to attend the Queen’s Dinner at Restaurant August in New Orleans. It was pretty amazing! I didn’t get a picture with Chef John Besh, buuuttt… on our way out me and my friend got a peek into the pastry kitchen and were given these delicious little mousse chocolates which were divine! Here are just a few pictures I took from the night.
For dinner we had a choice from three tables as well as running appetizers. One table had scallops in a cheesy risotto. Table two was lamb sausage with arugula and mint. Table three was roast pork with andouille sausage cornbread stuffing. Delicious!
We drank Dirty Shirleys and Lemon Drop Martinis (Me in a tumbler glass because I’m Ms. Spills-a-lot, seriously… its a talent). And on our way home we stopped by morning call for beignets.

And me…. And just as a disclaimer I do not consider myself a photographer because of my camera. So, get over it or GTFO… :D
