So, random… I know. Anyway, my sophomore year I lived in the sorority house and I had THE BEST ROOM. We had french doors onto the balcony, it was… amazing. Well about a month into it, a hurricane hits and guess who’s room gets destroyed?
Well I get relocated to the guest room downstairs.
Pros:
Private Bathroom
Fullsized Bed
Cons:
No walking space.
Crawling over my bed to get to the bathroom.
My “Private Bathroom” is really just the, “I’m home at 3am and need to pee bathroom”. Consequently if I or the previous user forgot to unlock the door they would come crawling over my bed to use the bathroom. Did you NOTICE the white comforter?
8 am class mixed with 3 am heart-to-hearts with anyone coming home at 3am.
Some unidentified source (most likely mold) making me ridiculously sick from the moment I moved in there.
I moved out after a month.
And my sickness was gone within a week.
Star show at the planetarium. Live after five downtown. Drinks at Tsunami, on the terrace. Have a martini at Duvic’s. Go Antiquing at Circa 1857. Biscuits and Gravy at Louie’s. Have a pizza from Fleur De Lis Pizza. Grab a bear and listen to music at Phil Brady’s. Drinks and maybe dinner at Jubans. (it’s expensive!)
I plan on trying many of these in Seattle. XD
I was JUST awarded the Naramore Fellowship at UW! AHhh, WHAT!
AWESOME.

Today, I got an e-mail from UW saying sorry for the delay and that said, a letter about my fellowship and scholarship information would be sent to me by e-mail on Monday! The e-mail also said that they hope that their offer of scholarship would make it possible for me to attend in the fall.
Um… SO WOULD I!?
I’m so excited!

More precisely… why is UW so unreasonably expensive.
UW Architecture: Architecture Hall
Oh, just where I would be taking classes… if I went here.

I GOT IN!
M.S. Architecture! Woo-hooo! Which came withing 5 minutes of being rejected from the Art History program.
MIXED EMOTIONS! Hahaha, I’m excited.
So, this past summer I got the awesome privilege to travel to Germany (Bavaria) and Vienna in Austria for 5 weeks. I met awesome people, saw amazing places and got to cheer along with Deutschland for the World Meisterschaft (The world cup). We got to drink and sing the victory songs gathered around projector screens in the Nuremberg town squares. It was amazing.
One of the people that came with us documented everything on a flip. Here is part of the video. I show up around 0:33. There are a couple segments of this video, but it probably won’t mean as much to you as it does me.
into UC Boulder! AHHHH
I just got a phone call from one of the professors who wanted to work with me.
I’m excited about this word of the day, for two reasons.
1. It’s the word of the day (which I love to check on my rockmelt sidebar) and the word on my birthday.
2. I’m definitely a philomath….
I think someone is trying to tell me something. <3
philomath \ FIL-uh-math \ , noun;
1. A lover of learning; a scholar.
Origin:
Philomath is from the Greek philomathes, “loving knowledge” from philos, “loving, fond” + mathein, “to learn, to understand”
University of Washington.
What, I could be here next year… If only I get in…

I concur, I don’t know how many time I proof read something, only to read over the final copy (just once more before I put it in the envelope you see) and it has one freaking error.
